Review: Font package for Handcent SMS & other Handcent applications

The Font package for Handcent SMS & other Handcent applications is a useful add-on for those who want to customize the fonts used in their messaging app. Once installed, it can be easily accessed and configured within the Handcent SMS or other Handcent application.

To begin using additional font packages in Handcent SMS, launch the app and click the "menu" button. From there, select "Settings" and then "Custom Style." Within this menu, you have the option to customize fonts in two main areas: the conversation list (main window) or the conversation window (also known as "bubble settings").

To modify the font in the conversation list, click on "ConversationList Settings" and then choose "Contact Font." Next, click on the "Font Pack" drop-down list to view available options. There are various font packs to choose from, such as Handcent SMS font pack1, Handcent SMS font pack2, Handcent SMS font pack3, and so on. If a font pack is not yet installed on your device, Handcent will prompt you to download it from the market.

Once you have selected a font pack, you can further customize the style, size, and other settings according to your preference.

In addition to the pre-installed font packs, you also have the option to scan external font packages that you may have already installed on your device. To do this, go to the "Custom Style" option and select "Scan external Font packages."

It is worth noting that Font pack3 specifically supports European characters.
